La Noche opened in January 2002 initially as a small martini lounge in a neighborhood with very few other gay venues at the time. Locals and tourists stopped in and La Noche quickly became a fun hot spot for the pre- club party.
Many of our locals became regulars and we even had annual regulars who stopped by each year while vacationing. We quickly were bursting at the seams, so in 2010, we had the opportunity to move into the building next door that provided us with the chance to expand and merge our original La Noche into the grander space next door with the future potential for a rooftop bar.
All this remodeled space was the new venue for spectacular drag queens, sexy go go boys, circus acts and show tunes. Our friends list grew and quickly filled our new fabulous space.
In 2012, our dream of opening our rooftop garden bar came to a reality. The view from the rooftop is glorious, views of the city and surrounding mountains provide an amazing venue to relax in our perfect winter weather and gaze at the stars.
Today La Noche is a premier gay bar destination for locals and tourists alike. From our main floor with a giant 10 x 10 screen, beautiful and talented go go dancers all the way up to the lavish 2 level rooftop garden bar, La Noche is the epicenter of a rich and vibrant gayborhood now boasting eight great bars in three short blocks surrounded with excellent restaurants, spas, shopping and more.
